Rehabbing a Quick Nautic B3 Marine Water Heater

Описание к видео Rehabbing a Quick Nautic B3 Marine Water Heater

In this video I recap overhauling our Nautic Water Boiler. It had been leaking around some of the fittings since we bought the boat, but when the electrical heating went out last year it was time to rehab.

We discovered the heating element was done, so we bought a new one, replaced some other key components, tested it, and reassembled. Now, it's ready to go back into the boat. I hope this video will provide some value to others looking at this project. Here's the parts we bought new. The rest were restored from the original equipment.

Note: In addition to 110v electric heating, this model also has an engine coolant loop to heat it underway. Our boat includes a third way of heating - a solar water heater mounted to the dinghy davits that the previous owner had installed. You'll see the black solar circulator pump in the video. It does an OK job of heating particularly down south, but up here in the Mid-Atlantic, it was only just warming the water this fall.
