Let the process begin! After an intense series of discovery, learning and discussions with "Prof. Russ", Amprion's CEO, I locked myself in the office and started the process of "ideation", which basically includes many foam boards, and a lot more post-it-notes! And of all colors and sizes! My job is to lay out all the ideas, areas, questions that needed answers, worked on, researched... Like what's the difference between white paper and peer review papers?

Ideation is a very private time for me. It's THINKING time. It's mulling- things-over-and-over again time. I put all the key items on the foam board. Big and Small. I use multiple foam boards. They are GREAT! And they are super cheap! $6 per board! What a practical genius invention!

What's the purpose of this brainstorming? We need to figure out our strategies in content creation, brand story, communications and marketing, as well as in social media. And our website! The brand world of Amprion is totally blank. And it's my canvas!!! Next up, I'll talk about how we develop the messaging, the logo ideation, as well as tagline, etc...

LESSIONS LEARNED:
• Ask questions. Ask often. Ask differently. Answers come differently when you phrase your questions differently.

• Learn how to ask the right questions. This is a big lesson I’ve learned over the years. It’s particular important in my work with the scientists. Turns out asking the right question is also the key to success for the left-brain folks. Asking the right questions is an art!
