THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! no wonder we fell in love with it!
The beautiful scenery is something from a Disney movie.
what a city for our fourth stop on our Bulgaria road trip. Veliko Tarnovo (veliko tŭrnovo) has a fortress called The Tsarevets fortress that sits on top of Tsarevets hill and is a sight to behold. It's made all the better when a gorgeous animal follows you around (Miss you Bolgi)

We also got to walk the beautiful streets including the famous General Gurko street before checking out the Assen Monument and finishing with a nice local beer with an INCREDIBLE view of Veliko Tŭrnovo, the Assen monument and Yantra river below!
