paragraphs II is the newest version of VONGON's four-pole resonant low-pass filter effect, now equipped with stereo inputs and outputs, designed to enhance modulation that reacts to your playing style while adding depth to the stereo image.

At its heart is the same ladder-style filter used in VONGON's Replay synthesizer, known for delivering precise harmonic tone control. This low-pass filter shines with harmonically rich, fuzzed, and distorted signals, but also provides clear, noise-free tone for cleaner sources like guitar, bass, or electric keyboards.

The pedal features a bipolar envelope generator that adjusts the filter based on your playing dynamics, processing left and right inputs independently to create a complex stereo sound. With separate rise and fall controls, ranging from 5 milliseconds to 4 seconds, you can craft anything from sharp accents to slow, evolving swells. In follower mode, the filter frequency tracks or inversely tracks your playing volume, producing dynamic auto-wah or ducking effects. Trigger mode activates a one-shot envelope when your playing exceeds a certain threshold, adding either a plucky or smooth fade-in effect. Cycle mode offers rhythmic, pulsing modulation.

The LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) runs 180° out of phase between the left and right channels, creating a wide stereo effect. With modulation speeds ranging from 0.1Hz to 100Hz, it can generate anything from slow, gentle movement to fast tremolo or ring modulation-like effects.

The pedal connects via standard ¼" jacks, adaptable for both instrument and line-level inputs. It also includes a control voltage (cv/exp) input for adjusting the filter cutoff frequency with modular equipment or expression pedals, and a MIDI input for remote control of all parameters, with access to nine onboard preset slots. Powered by a standard 9-volt center-negative power supply, the Paragraphs II offers a highly versatile and dynamic filtering experience.
