This is dedicated to John Prine, who is in serious condition battling COVID-19. Mr. Prine has been a foundational figure in my musical upbringing – his sly wit and his ability to embody the "everyman" with both grace and grit set a high bar for my brother and myself when we started writing. All of our thoughts, love, and positive energy go to John and his family at this time...thanks for making us laugh and think critically about our own humanity all at the same time.
