3) Blue Wine

I was in this one band for 5 years or so not too long ago

Blue wine was penned as a love letter to my old friends
to remind them of the good days but also to let them know
how hung up i was about it all

no one cared then to open it up and read it.

by the river just a few friends clowning around
i was above the water

the wind blew the clouds by
and all the blue filled my mind

wild flowers in the cliffs
red sun in a seafoam green sky
blue wine

rock n roll
shaking up the whole floor
boogie woogie till you can't ball
pack it up again and do it tomorrow
