In the right side set demonstrated - the low man and side wall player should be left handed shots for shooting, driving the net from the low position or doing a low cycle. The net/slot player/shooter is right handed to take one timers. The defense are not as critical with regard to the which way they shoot. The left defenseman needs to be mobile to go backdoor.

In the mirror left side setup = you need 2 right handed players for the wall and low post position. The shooter/screener/net man then becomes a left handed player to to set up for one timers.
