Towards the end of their set, The Gladiators play Bongo Red, led by the commanding presence of singer Al Griffiths, backed up by brother Anthony Griffiths hard at work on the drums.

Al and Anthony are sons of the late Albert Griffiths, who founded the original Gladiators in 1968, eventually passing away in December 2020, just short of 75 years of age.

Tonight was the first live performance of the Gladiators and Congos joint 2024 European tour - six prior planned performances had had to be re-scheduled from April to June.
