In 2024, with the help of Home Rescue: The Big Fix and Cash & Carry Kitchens, designer Dee Coleman reimagined the space with a Shaker Ivory kitchen from the Modern Heritage collection. The U-shaped layout created more countertop space and, most importantly, room for an integrated dishwasher - Shónagh’s favourite feature, giving her precious extra time with her children.

The redesign also introduced smart storage with deep drawers, chrome pull-out baskets, integrated bins, and tall units to keep everything organised. Brass accents from the Blanco Envoy tap and Faber Chloe hood, along with Nero Graphite worktops, give the kitchen a warm and stylish finish.

For Shónagh, the result is life-changing: a light, bright kitchen that retains the cottage charm while finally meeting the needs of a busy family of five.
