In this archive video Steve Nallon performs his Horse Racing Routine which includes the voices of Peter O'Sullevan and Murray Walker.

Steve Nallon has been performing as an entertainer and stand-up comedian since 1977. Whilst still at school, Steve developed a successful comedy act which from the age of 16 he took round local Working Men's Clubs in Yorkshire and the North. It was during this time that Steve made his professional debut 'on the West End stage', or, to be more precise, the stage of the Pudsey West End Working Men's Club and Institute Union. During these formative years Steve was at times booed-off and paid-off (getting half your fee and told to go home early) and at others cheered to the rafters with calls for "More!" thus learning the fickle nature of show business and audiences. And performing live has been part of his life ever since. To this day Steve continues to work as stand-up on the comedy circuit around London and beyond.

This performance is from an evening at the Old Bull Theatre in Barnet in 1991. John Major was prime minister and Jim Davidson was presenting The Generation Game. Heady days!
