Today is the first offical day of Toque de Queda - Martial Law Curfew. 👮🏽‍♂️🚔🚨We head out on the streets to look for groceries and supplies, but find all major shopping centres closed with only very few local markets open. 🏬❌

Lines of people went around the corner of each stores, lines of cars as far as you can see for gas stations, accidents on the streets and burned intersections remained of the night before. We were eventually able to find small local fruit and veggies and stock up for the next few days. 🍌🍋🥑🥚🥚🥒🍪🍩

We head into Providencia for the afternoon where there is strong protest, however is met with military presence. Just on the corner we witness a small protest blocking a street into the intersection where angry students play cat and mouse with the military with fire and tear gas. This went on past the curfew time of 7pm tonight and safe to say will continue well into the night and the rest of the weekend. 🔥🔥🔥
