A performance in which Arjun invites some of his dearest friends and musicians to join him on stage and make music.

An electronics engineer by education and a Fulbright music scholar, Arjun Sagar Gupta has been a performing pianist since the early 2000's. His influences include but are not restricted to pianists such as Art Tatum, Erroll Garner and Thomas 'Fats' Waller, but also classical maestros such as Franz Liszt, Vladimir Horowitz, Bach and Chopin. Arjun started his musical journey under the tutelage of Mr. John Raphael at the Delhi School of Music who apart from being the director of the institute was undoubtedly one of the best piano teachers in the country. Arjun plays the piano and sings with musicians from across India and the world.

Often described as the go-to encyclopedia of Jazz by the industry, Arjun has, over the last 15 years, curated or performed in over 1500 shows. In 2015, he founded The Piano Man Jazz Club, India's premier live music venue, hosting performances every day with incredible musicians from across the world. Arjun is an active promoter of India's live music circuit, curating various festivals and assisting various venues across the country plan their performance arts calendars.

Giants of Jazz celebrates the best of international and Indian musicians and their love for jazz. The festival brings together live performances from incredible artists in celebration of music that is democratic, inclusive, powerfully emotional, and that speaks to people of all races and nationalities. This festival by The Piano Man recognizes both group and individualistic expressions of Jazz. Each day is a unique experience in itself. The line-up explores the century of tradition of jazz and traces its evolution through the ages and its effects on a variety of genres of music.
