Draw the path traced by the point which is in the circumference of the wheel of diameter 60mm rolls over the flat surface. Also, draw a tangent normal 60mm away from the directing line.

Cycloid construction :
A cycloid is a curve traced by a point on the circumference of a circle that rolls without slipping along a straight line.
Step 1: Draw the circle with the given radius
Step 2: Draw vertical and horizontal diametrical lines with a drafter. (2H)
Step 3: Calculate the circumference distance for one complete revolution of the circle and mark the PE.
Step 4: Divide the PE(circumference) into 12 or 8 equal pieces.
( Mostly 12 means we will get a smooth curve easily)
Step 5: Divide the circle into 12 equal pieces.
( By compass we can do it very easily.
Step 6: Now draw one rectangle box first. Then draw the horizontal constructional lines. It this procedure will be a useful one to draw parallel lines
Step 7: Now transfer all the points in the baseline to the Locus of center line.
