Mohamed & Ibrahim "Teteh" Bangura

Välkommen hem Teteh!

A compilation of all the league goals made by the fantastic Ibrahim "Teteh" Bangura and Mohamed Bangura, also known as "The Golden Twins" from Sierra Leone.

This is their story:

Mohamed Bangura came to AIK from the third tier league of Swedish Football IFK Värnamo during the summor of 2010. He immediately went into the starting eleven in AIKs Champions League qualifier against Rosenborg BK, and was one of the best players on the pitch.

When he joined the team, they were positioned second to last in the Swedish Top League, with several points up to the safe spot above the relegation line. AIK, beeing the largest club in Sweden was facing the very real and probable threat of playing in the second division the following year. But in came Mohamed as a savior and scored goals in almost every game left in the season, and AIK could climb up in the league and finished 11th.

During the winter transfer period AIK signed Mohameds best friend Ibrahim "Teteh" Bangura, who was playing in the fourth tier team Köping FF at the time. Also Mohamed got a haircut, as you can clearly see in the video. During the preseason Teteh made several goals, including a fantastic bicycle kick (seen at 0:59) . This made the fans wonder if the lightning could strike the same place twice.

And it most certainly did. In his first league game Teteh scored two goals, and after that it just continued. "The Golden Twins" quickly became the most feared strike team in Sweden. With half the season gone Teteh has now scored 14 goals in 14 games, and Mohamed isn't far behind.
