A total of 17,513 ballots were cast for the municipal election in the City of Vista. After the completion of the counting process, the City Council is pleased to announce the following results:

District 2: Congratulations to Jeff Fox, who received the highest number of votes and has been elected to the City Council for a full four-year term.

District 3: Congratulations to Katie Melendez, who received the highest number of votes and has been elected to the City Council for a full four-year term.

The City Clerk delivered the certificate of election, signed and authenticated, to each individual, and administered the oath of office as prescribed in the Constitution of the State of California.
