What is DWDM ? what are its uses and capacity
Dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) is an optical fiber multiplexing technology that is used to increase the bandwidth of existing fiber networks. it can support 1.25Tera bit per second data rates and used for long haul transmission up to 80 Kilometers.

What is STM1 and its capacity??
STM-1 (Optical / Electrical), E1 and Ethernet Multi-Service SDH Transmission Unit is a modular platform unit with two 155.52Mbps .

What is the capacity of E1 ????
E1's data rate of 2.048 mbps (million bits per second), over 32 channels at 64/kbps each,

What is the data rates of SFP Modules ,like SFP transceiver distance ?
SX: Stands for short reach. SX reaches 550m on multimode fiber. LX reaches 10km on single mode fiber .EX: Stands for extended reach.EX reaches 40km on single mode fiber ....... ZX: Stands for extended reach. ZX reaches 70km (or 80km) on single mode fiber.

What is SFP? kindly do tell its types and ranges?
SFP is a small form factor pluggable module which convert optical signal into electrical signal and electrical signal into light signal .while types are related with respect to ranges EX, LX, ZX .

What are types of patch cords???
The types are SC, LC and FC..

What is the major difference between these two fibers in term of ranges?
Single mode is suitable for long range while multimode is used for short range .

What are the types of Fiber Optics cable??
There are two types of fiber optic cables – multimode and single-mode. Multimode fiber is designed to operate at 850 and 1300 nm, while single mode fiber is optimized for 1310 and 1550 nm.

What is difference between Indoor Service provider & Outside plant services provider in Fixed Network and what is the role of it in our telecom business??
An internet service provider or ISP is a company that provides internet and other related services to various organizations and individuals. While In telecom, OSP stands for outside plant. Put simply, OSP refers to all of the equipment, cables and infrastructure that are located outside of a building. While the term outside plant can be used when referring to communications networks like telephone or cable.

Do you have any idea about Fixed Network ????
A fixed-line can be seen as a connection to an end customer, by means of a cable, through which a user can make phone calls or connect to the Internet. Fixed-lines are clearly separate from the mobile phone network, by which end users are connected to the network via wireless transmission technologies.
