Firstly, sorry about my long absence! been dealing with a lot of crazy stuff this year...
Next. This song is called "Dreams Into Ash".

Here I'm playing my much-loved "Ibanstein" V, which is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Nazgûl in the bridge, and a Hot Rails in the neck position.

For all the guitar tones, I'm running into a Seymour Duncan 805 OD pedal, then into a Kemper Profiling Amp, which is loaded with a profile of my Peavey 6505 head.
The big difference this time, is that instead of recording the Kemper directly, I'm treating the Kemper as a true preamp, and sending the raw guitar signal through an ISP Stealth power amp, and into a Marshall 4x12 cabinet, in which I have installed four Eminence CV-75 speakers inside, and I'm mic'ing the speaker with a Shure SM57, as shown in the video.
I've heard that these CV-75 speakers sound very similar to actual "vintage" V30 speakers, as they were made back in the 80's. Apparently the modern V30 sounds different now.
Whatever the case, I'm completely in love with these speakers! Compared to the modern V30's that I'm used to, these Eminence speakers have a much warmer high end that isn't as harsh as the V30, and also the mids aren't as scooped sounding. But it does still have a similar sound and feel. I find it much easier to dial in a great sounding mic position with these speakers as a result!
Definitely going to be keeping these in my 4x12! They cost less than V30's, they are made in the USA, and they are 75 watts each, where the V30's are 60 watts. And last, but not least, they sound better than V30's, imho! VERY happy with them!

Bass guitar is also recorded through the Kemper, but directly. I'm using a Profile of an Ampeg SVT head in this recording.
