My hand made chess set...

Hello ...

I've uploaded this video for fans of those who like to 'upcycle' things ...

I've watched quite a few videos online with the majority showing very highly crafted sets made by craftsmen who have some impressive skills and expertise ... (along with some very professional tools) ... 🙂

My journey is really at the opposite end of the spectrum as I've never made a single chess piece (prior to attempting this) and I only have some fairly 'basic' DIY tools that I use for various jobs around the home ...

My son recently gave me a 'mini-lathe' as a birthday present along with a set of calipers and some other very welcome tools ...

So ... here's what I did ...
