Hello There! My name is Debbie, otherwise known as Omi. I am 59 years old and will turn 60 in July while I am on the trail.

Thanks for joining me on my hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2023. I will be starting my journey in March of 2023 and I hope that you will Subscribe and follow me as I travel NOBO (Northbound) through 14 states to ultimately reach Maine and Katahdin. I will uploading daily videos that will include the trail, campsites, hostels, the views, towns, the people I have the opportunity to meet along the way. I will also document my feelings, the good, the bad and the ugly.

A little about me, I am a wife. a mom and a grandma (Omi). I live up in North Carolina with my husband and 3 dogs. My husband and I enjoy an active lifestyle and spending time with our kids and their families.
