Financial literacy legend Dr. Margaret Brooks joins the #MyCollegeCorner podcast to share insight from her 20+ year career in Education. Margaret shares her inspiration about financial literacy making a big difference in the lives of students and how this topic has evolved over time.

Margaret is Professor of Economics and Director of Financial Literacy and Economic Education at Bridgewater State University, having earned an A.B. , A.M. and Ph.D in Economics from Brown University. She has served thousands of students over her career and is also President of the Rhode Island Jump$tart Coalition and Rhode Island Council for Economic Education.

Team building and coalitions play a crucial role in creating financial literacy programs and Margaret provides great experience in bringing people and organizations together to achieve this greater goal.
