Hi, I'm Kristian Keogh, I am a professional video editor, content creator, actor, singer, musician, and all that general performer.

So, my love of doing anything multimedia or tech based started probably at a young age and self-taught myself how to edit and I've tried to take all that I've kind of learned and what I’m learning and experiencing and putting that into my own business, because for me and really I could say most people with any disability it's hard to find work that will adapt to you.

A lot of NDIS people are self-managed because there's a lot more choice and control over what they can do, and so that's kind of where the angle that I've taken.

I did my musical with Bangalow Theatre Company; we did Rent which is one of my absolute favourite musicals of all time and throughout that whole process it was very collaborative.

They changed where the stage was, originally was going to on stage, but then they put it on the ground floor for ease of access, so I was working a lot with the set designer.

Things like to make sure they could fit a wheelchair through all these spaces and that it was easy for me to navigate.

We had one of the original Sydney based cast members from Rent back in 1998 watching the show and she said that she hadn't seen Rent putting through a disability lens, so I kind of added this whole other lens to a perspective that, even I think the original creator of Rent wouldn't have actually seen because disability is something that is only just coming to the forefront in terms of public consciousness.

The world hasn't been built around disability, or around really everybody and It's going to be impossible to do that, but It's up to you to try and access the things you want and that's important to take away from that.

I really hope that people can do the same thing because that's what you should be doing.
