HIC 3002 is a biodegradable cleaner that provides a safe and highly effective way to clean up any hydrocarbon-based material. Our unique blend of water based sufactants promotes the growth of and form spherical micelles which surround the hydrocarbon molecules, forming a micro emulsion. Within the micro emulsion a chemical, emulsifying process begins. This process works with the naturally occurring bacteria present in the environment to rapidly degrade the hydrocarbon by using it a natural food source. This is termed bio-availability, and this specific action addresses the permanent removal of the hydrocarbon from the environment. This action is complete, not merely moving the contaminant from one spot to another.



HIC 3002 may be used for many tasks and in many diverse environments, from cleaning equipment to treating large oil spills. HIC not only emulsifies hydrocarbons in open water, but hydrocarbon particles are desorbed and released from the entrained shoreline allowing for maximum oil recovery with minimal impact on the shoreline.
