One of the worst parts about being an LGBT youth is the isolation one can feel - typically, that no one else is like you, you are alone in hostile territory, and there is nothing ahead of you but more of the same. Knowing that there is a proud community of likeminded individuals that are warm and welcoming might be the thread that helps a struggling teenager hang on. The same-sex partner dance community is that community! We wanted to let others know that we will include them, that they are welcome among us, and that we embrace, celebrate and honor each individual.

We are proof that you are not alone, that yes, it does indeed get better.
