Kasera – An extraordinarily ordinary day in the life of an ‘everyday’ salesgirl

Kasera focuses on the life of Manju – a Salesgirl. Trapped in an exploitative job, the short film traces her life through a single, uneventful day. Lecherous customers, a demanding yet indifferent boss, and a hard life, grind her down. In this nightmare of everyday ordinariness, where every day begins with the relief that it will end, Manju is worn down to the point where she yearns for only one thing – a Chair. To sit, to pause, and wait out the inevitable.
