How To Choose A Delay Pedal - Which Echo Is Right For You?

Delay pedals are simple in principle, but over the years they've helped guitarists to totally transform their sound and sculpt some amazing music - everything from ambient soundscapes to chart-topping hits!

And though they CAN be simple enough, there have been some major changes and improvements to our much-loved delay devices - these days options are plentiful and it may not be clear which delay pedal is right for you.

So in today's video, Sam shows us the key differences between some of his favourite delay pedals from the likes of Boss, Strymon and MXR. He also explains why analogue pedals still exist (and are highly sought-after) in today's digital age, and offers advice on what delay pedal may be most appropriate for your guitar rig.

Finally, he uncovers some of the awesome additional tonal features of certain delay pedals, that go way beyond simply repeating whatever sound goes in to them!
