This is the "Lava Luge" waterslide at Camelback Aquatopia, PA. This bowl slide has some quirks setting it apart from others out there. First off, it's attached to the kids structure, technically making it a kids slide, meaning this is the craziest kids slide I've ever done. Secondly, the slide's exit is a staircase instead of falling into a pool or going down a separate slide. The slide starts with a sharp steep curve where riders build up a lot of speed before they're thrown into the bowl disoriented, while experiencing some decent g-force. Riders then come to stop before standing up and walking to the staircase. Probably the only time standing up in a slide is allowed. You can get some good views of the bowl from the staircase too. The slide is a bit uncomfortable, but it's not that painful since it's not that extreme. Even though it's one of the slower and tamer bowl slides out there, it's still a lot of fun!
