Let's take a look at what's included in the free Wasteland update for Space Engineers and also look at what you get extra with the DLC. I've included a quick 'solo' test drive of the 'Scrap Race' Scenario to get a feel of the racing environment. Note, the Scrap Race Scenario is designed for multi player although it is accessible in solo play.

EDIT: There are a total of 11 new blocks in the free content in small and large grid and in the paid content there are 2 new emotes and a new character suit that I missed in the video. Thanks for pointing that out Chozo!
