BMW E46 Oil and Filter Change - DIY car maintenance - BERT gets more TLC

Looking after our BMW E46 318ci M Sport is something we knew we needed to do when we bought him, and this time, it’s all about continuing to give Bert the Beemer some much-needed TLC with an oil and filter change.

In this video, we walk through the steps to change the oil and filter, using our trusty new trolley jack and axle stands. It’s never as simple as it seems, and we had our fair share of mix-ups—like figuring out the right socket size for the sump nut!

Watch to see if the oil went everywhere or if we managed to keep it under control. With our signature bicker-banter and laughs, this DIY car maintenance video is full of relatable moments.
