In this video I'll show you how I edit a nature wildlife (bird) photo in Darktable. Darktable is a wonderful free and open source raw photo editing software that I've been using for years now. If you don't know Darktable check it out. It is wondeful. I'm using Ubuntu Studio 22.04, a Linux distribution, but Darktable should be available for Windows and Mac also. What tools and how I use them should also work for the Win and Mac versions at least if you have the same version for Darktable and for most of the cases should work for other versions also. This video is quite out of the box, live. I just wanted to show you a real world photo editing workflow in Darktable with me explaining, poorly though, at the same time, sorry about that... Perhaps my explaining and rusty English skills become better as I aim to do more of these in the future, but will see... Hope you enjoy and most of all hope you learn something. These videos are a sort of thanks to the Darktable developers and community for their wonderful work. I hope more people can enjoy this fantastic great tool that is Darktable. For individual tools check out the timestamps below. This is not a click and play photo editing tutorial. This is quite advanced, but if you want to explore, learn new things and do your own stuff your own way and not just copy, there are some tips here...
