What is BeamNG.drive?
BeamNG is a soft body vehicular simulation with an extremely realistic damage system, but no traditional damage model. Very strange, I know. Instead, each piece of car is simulated to bend, crack, and shatter. Mechanical simulation is also there, with the ability for you to interchange parts for other parts, all with realistic damage simulation and mechanical simulation. The tire model is extremely realistic, as the tires correspond to the tread pattern on the tires, not the way the developers programmed them to act. The game also has full modding support with the ability to download user created mods on the developers’ website. (or any other site)
