The Newsmakers: US-Turkey relations

If there are two breaking points between Washington and Ankara, they're this: The White House is arming fighters in Syria that Turkey considers terrorists AND Washington refuses to extradite Fetullah Gulen- the man Turkey says is responsible for funding and organising an attempted coup to topple President Erdogan's government. The Obama adminstration said there's evidence that the YPG is the best fighting force to defeat Daesh in Syria; and that there's NOT enough evidence to prove Gulen is guilty of a crime. But will things change now that Donald Trump occupies the oval office? And if they don't, what will become of the relationship between these two NATO allies?
