Since getting X-Plane 12, I have been plagued by weird inconsistencies in framerate and the London area has been a bit of a no-go area with anything approaching realistic scenery.

The arrival of XP12.1 beta, the promise of the "modern collector" and the opportunity to get hold of updated Orbx scenery for the UK for a few pence has prompted me to try my luck over London.

Early days obviously, but my initial reaction is that it shows a lot of promise.

I had one stutter early on, but the framerate stuck doggedly in the 30's which for my machine is very good.
