Jim was born in Pennsylvania where he trained under Sergio "Bolao" Souza and Alex Britto of the Carlson Gracie Team. After moving to California he earned his black belt from Renner and Ryron Gracie at the Gracie University in Torrance. His level personality, willingness to share, depth of knowledge, and depth of experience make him a treasured Combat Base Garage Guy. Both liked and feared by all🤣!
In this episode Chris, Melissa, and Jim riff about what training was like in the early days vs. today. We discuss the importance of attitude and what it takes to be come a mature practitioner of the art.
