How to get there:

From London King’s Cross Station (Euston Rd., London N1 9AL)

By Bus (costs £1.75 per person, one way ticket)
-Walk 5 min. (0,2 miles) from King’s Cross train staion to King’s Cross Stn/Pentonville Rd (Stop H)
-Take the bus no. 17 for London Bridge
-Ride 12 stops (15 min.) and hop off at St. Paul’s Cathedral
-Walk 2 min. (282 ft)
-St. Paul’s Cathedral

Buses run every 10-15 min.

By Train (costs £ 2.70 per person, one way ticket)
-Walk 3 min. (0,1 mile) from King’s Cross train staion to St. Pancras International train station
-Take Thameslink (traveling to Rainham) from platform A
-Ride 2 stops (8 min.) and hop off at Blackfriars
-Exit the station via Blackfriars station entrance
-Walk 10 min. (0,3 miles)
-St. Paul’s Cathedral

Trains run every 10-13 min.

Prices as of 24th December 2024 ranged between £12-21. The rates fluctuate based on the availability, travel distance, type of vehicle - electric/fuel/executive/luxury/comfort (for 4 people), pet friendly (for 3 people), black cab (for 5 people), XL (for 6 people). Electric ones are the cheapest, with only a pound or two difference as compared to the comfort type.

It's free to worship at the Cathedral, but sightseeing is ticketed. The cost of entry is £25 per adult and £10 per child, with discounts for families, groups and concessions. Some free tickets are also available.

🕰️ Opening times:

The Cathedral is open from Monday to Saturday for sightseeing.

On most days, doors open at 8.30am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 10am on Wednesdays. Last entry for sightseeing is usually at 4pm with sightseeing ending 30 minutes after the last entry time. However, opening and closing times can change, so it’s recommended you visit the calendar to check the day you will be attending.
