We’re BACK with another Hop-In Series episode, and this time we’re diving straight into the heart of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Story Mode! After warming up in the World Tournament last time, I wanted to really get into the good stuff — so today we’re punching our way through the Saiyan Saga and blasting off into the early Frieza Saga!

From Raditz to Vegeta, this game still hits with that classic PS2/GameCube-era charm — the cutscenes, the combos, the dramatic zoom-ins… it’s pure nostalgia cooked to perfection. I’m relearning the mechanics on the fly, rediscovering old moves I forgot existed, and getting way too hyped every time a beam struggle pops off.

Whether it's Goku screaming, Piccolo being Piccolo, or me struggling against Saibamen like it’s 2003 again — this episode has ALL the chaos you’d expect. And once the action shifts toward Namek? Oh yeah… we’re ramping up. Frieza Saga energy is here.
