A 100% playthrough of Oniken, a NES-inspired platformer that's short but somewhat challenging.

Getting the platinum requires doing speedruns of the first 6 stages individually, not dying on the first 6 stages, getting hidden collectibles in all the stages, and doing boss rush and hardcore mode.

The first 6 stages are done first to unlock everything. The speedrun trophies were obtained on the first try for all but stage 5, which had some annoying enemy placement and killed a few successful attempts.

Stage 7 is then done, which is a lengthy stage and requires rescuing all prisoners to be fully done with it.

Boss rush just requires knowing enemy patterns. Expect to retry this a few times before getting it. You can save the lone health pickup till the final boss if you need it.

Hardcore mode requires you to beat the first 6 stages in a row without losing all your lives, and you take more damage on top of it, and don't refill health in between sections. This is the best time to do the collectible trophies, as they each give you a 1-up.
