⚠️ Important: There’s no miracle here — your PC’s hardware will determine how well the game runs...

⚙️ My system: For reference, the test system used here has 6 cores / 12 threads, 8 GB of RAM, and 3200 MHz memory.

⚠️ Initial Precaution: It’s recommended to keep the game settings and properties at their default values before starting. This helps avoid inconsistencies, unexpected bugs, and conflicts while following the tutorial.

🎯 Step 1: Go to the game properties and enable all available patches. One of these patches includes the 60 FPS patch, which is essential for this setup. Make sure everything is checked and active before moving on!

🚀 Step 2: Go to the Emulation section and set the EE Cycle Rate to the highest available option: 300% (Overclock). After that, enable “Multithreaded VU1 (MTVU)” to improve performance and stability.

🎨 Step 3: Go to the Graphics section, then open Post-Processing. Enable FXAA, and turn on “Sharpen Only (internal resolution)”, setting it to 50% for a cleaner and sharper image.

🖥️ Step 4: Go to Graphics, then open the Rendering section. Here, set the internal resolution to whatever you prefer: 720p, 1080p, 2K, or even 4K — choose based on your PC’s performance and what looks best to you.

✨ Optional Extra (Visual Upgrade): If possible, look for an HD texture pack for GTA: San Andreas on PCSX2 and enable it under Texture Replacement. This can significantly improve the game’s visuals.

Keep in mind: you’ll need to find and install the texture pack yourself. Also, the version shown in this video is NOT using any HD texture packs — this is just an optional upgrade if you want even better visuals.

⚠️ Optional – Use with Caution: You can go to the Advanced tab and enable “128MB RAM (Dev Console)”.

Important: This does not disable save states, but once you enable this option, you won’t be able to use save states made with the original PS2 RAM size. You’ll need to create new save states after enabling it.
