I know I might get some hate for this because that's how the internet roles, but hopefully you take something positive away from my speech, and let's try our hardest to make the comments section a safe place for ANYONE to share their stories, opinions, and ideas. Thank you.

A small edit: I want to also make sure people know that ideally, we can find the sweet spot between pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones, but also not having to cry all the time on the wall. I've made a small tweak in this set to include that conversation (at 17:06):

"By working on my own biases and rewriting how one is 'supposed' to show fear, I can actually just focus on my personal process. And I cry, and that's totally okay. It’s a part of figuring out where that sweet spot between comfort and discomfort is; the one that pushes me to be a better climber, but doesn’t destroy my psyche. And it’s been a wonderful journey–an ongoing journey– to self discovery and acceptance… and to hard trad climbing(!)"
