Former Eskom CEO Brian Molefe states that Faith Mangope must ask Andre de Ruyter about Eskom's mop and toilet paper prices. This is according to Molefe in an interview with the Metro FM host, where he addresses various allegations against him and asserts that Corruption Watch never had a case to declare him and other former Eskom directors as delinquent.

He also asks the interviewer Mangope if she remembers what he said at the Zondo Commission when he made the statement that Glencore gave Ramaphosa shares at Optimum; and no money was ever found under his mattress.

He provides a detailed account of the bizarre circumstances and happenings surrounding the corruption allegations linked to his tenure at Transnet. Molefe breaks down the events and defends his position against the accusations.

He also addresses and sets the record straight regarding his relationship with the Guptas. Molefe also goes on to say that the price of coal, not the cost of toilet paper and mops, was the problem at Eskom and that toilet paper was a diversion by Andre De Ruyter to hide his incompetence.
