This is a video I recorded while working on my game The First Bastion. I tested the basic progression of the game through act 1. Each hero belongs to a class and every class consists of 3 heroes. Classes are represented with colors indicated on the left side of the screen under the abilities in the hero portraits.

Hero Synergies: When certain classes are put next to a certain hero, their level 2 and level 3 abilities unlock as long as they stay together. Ex: Fire mage in this video.

Class Buffs: When you put 2 or 3 heroes of the same class on the grid, you gain a class buff. Ec: 2 mages give 1 extra mana to the player.

Battle Charms: When a wave of enemies are killed, a random battle charms drops which the player can use with mana. You can see the charms and mana on the bottom right side of the screen
