Grandma's Old Trunk Gets a Glamorous Vintage revamp! 💖 | Epic Trunk Makeover | Stylish Upcycling

Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel. In today's video, I’ll be transforming an old, rusty trunk I found at my grandma’s place into a beautiful piece of furniture. This project was so much fun and filled with memories.
Materials Used:

• Wet cloth

• Turpentine oil
• Enamel paints (Smoke grey and golden yellow): You can get at any hardware and paint store.
• Masking tape

• Wood primer
• Burnt sienna and brown acrylic paint
• Fevicryl air-dry clay.
• Black acrylic paint.
• Fevicryl pearl gold
• Antique gold powder

Note: All these products except wooden legs, are better purchased at craft/stationary stores or hardware stores rather buying online because you can’t get small and less quantity online.

Steps:
1. Sanding the rust and smoothing the surface.
2. Applying metal primer mixed with turpentine oil.
3. Painting with enamel paints and highlighting the embossed stripes.
4. Adding wooden legs.
5. Painting the joints and handles black as a base for gold metallic paint.
6. Mixing and applying the gold mixture for a luxurious touch.
7. Adding air-dry clay for designs and patterns.
8. Final touches with varnish for a glossy finish.
