With the road route from Sasan Gir to Visavadar closed due to flooding of road by the Kamleshwar River, the station staff at Sasan Gir suggested us to take the trail by the side of railway line, cross the river by railway bridge and join the road at the next level crossing. Rail, road, river, wildlife, a maldhari friend, a hot cup of tea in the deep jungle made this little journey more than just adventurous. A madness never to be repeated.
