"This video was filmed in late November of 2019. I never knew the magnitude of relevance it would carry on the release day (today).

I can confidently say there are some things about the way I've been molded and shaped that would make me a monster to someone else. I can say the same for my parents. I can say the same for their parents. I can say the same for everyone I have ever met.

We have all been subject to judgement, discrimination, and pain on account of someone else's upbringing; we have all been the passer of judgement, discrimination, and pain, whether we intend to or not.

It's time to let it be known that we are more the same than different, and that we must educate ourselves on issues that are not a part of our own experiences.

Love does not expect us to be perfect. It does not expect us to understand. It only requires our willingness to try.
