Agaete is a commune in Spain, in the province of Las Palmas, in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, with an area of 45.5 km². In 2011, the commune had 5,767 inhabitants.
Teror is located in the central-eastern part of the island, at an altitude of 543 meters. The great attraction of this region is the local cult of Our Lady of Pine. Teror is a tourist town on Gran Canaria, situated in the mountains, just 14 kilometers from the capital - Las Palmas.
