★ 2x🎥 🇨🇭Biel - Moutier, Beautiful cab ride through the Jura mountains of Switzerland [07.2019]

Welcome!

This trip takes us from Biel through Sonceboz-Sombeval to Moutier, a scenic route, which served as a mainline until the opening of the Grenchenberg tunnel, which offers a more direct connection to Moutier.
We are travelling with an NPZ (Neuer Pendelzug, translated: New push pull composition), a series of trains which were introduced in 1984. About 120 have been refurbished and renamed Domino, with 5 of the type RBDe 562 remaining in their original form. The remaining units are equipped with french safety equipement, which was originally installed for use between Basel and Mulhouse. They are destined to be taken out of service in December 2019, which sparked my interest in making this video.
