Remember, backflushing is only for machines that are equipped with 3 way solenoid valves.
Daily routine of backflushing with water helps keep your machine running clean and free from coffee oil which goes rancid if not cleaned. Chemical backflush with a suitable backflush powder will give the machine a thorough clean once every 3 months or so for home machines.
