Art Deco, the most glamourous and vibrant style of the 20th century, evokes the age of jazz and the glitz of Hollywood in its heyday. This series explores the origins and iconography of Art Deco and its impact on art and architecture, ceramics, furniture, jewellery, textiles and fashion.

This introductory session explores the background to Art Deco, its defining motifs, and the seminal 1925 Paris Exposition Internationale des ‘Art(s) Deco(ratifs} et Industriels Moderne’.
