here's a cover i recorded for some friends on Facebook on the 21/6/20
the arrangement came about by simply playing as many parts from the original regardless to weather it was strings, bass,guitar or keys. i guess its more about being a musician than just a guitar player. After a few frustrating weeks of trying to sing it like mark knopfler i gave up and decided to sing it in my own best Kildare accent.it was only then i began to connect emotionally with the song. then to my surprise i realized the whole thing was starting to sound more and more Celtic which i liked...it now had its own sound... its own little soul....It got 20,000 views over night and went on to reach over 130,000 later without any adds, paid boosts or sponsorships, all real people commenting and sharing, many that i am lucky enough to have become good friends with.
