For some reason, Air Jordan 3 Black Cements always seem to fall into my lap for restoration projects… This pair from 2011 was obtained in a Sole Supremacy ‘Beater Box’ and was in REALLY rough shape… The midsoles were completely detached from the uppers and the outsoles were peeling off from the midsoles. There had been some obvious previous restoration attempts that had occurred with a Bondo-like material used to try to reglue the soles back to the uppers. The midsoles had paint cracking and peeling, the outsoles were yellowing and covered in dirt and grime, and the uppers were incredibly dirty.

Basically… these shoes were a mess. But, as it turns out, I was able to give these sneakers a quick 180 and turn them back into a completely wearable, good looking pair of BC3s while only incurring minimal damage to the midsoles after removing the failed glue attempt. This was definitely a project that took me a lot longer due to the previous failed restoration but luckily, I was able to get it done and put together an amazing final project.
