A simple to tie and very productive leech pattern used to catch everything from pike and pickerel in fresh water, to striped bass and bluefish in the salt. I've heard this is a killer pattern on peacock bass, too!

Tied with Bernat Disco eyelash yarn or any similar eyelash, this fly can be creeped slowly along the bottom like a worm or stripped with a fast darting retrieve like a fleeing minnow. The material comes alive in the water flowing and undulating as the fibers flash and send out fish-attracting vibrations.
